DOH-HFOB IEC MATERIALS REGARDING THE ANTI-HOSPITAL DEPOSIT LAW INFORMATION CAMPAIGN

Again, we would like to thank you for your active participation in the DOH HFOB Anti-Deposit Summit that was conducted online last February 28 via Zoom. During the said forum, the apparent lack of information, as well as misinformation on the Anti-Hospital Deposit Law was raised.

As an offshoot, the office of Asec Atty Charade Grande seeks PHA’s assistance in the dissemination of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials pertaining to the application of the Anti-Hospital Deposit Law, not only to those involved in the administration of health facilities, but also to include the patients’ sector and particularly requesting the support of PHA’s Private Hospital Members in this information campaign.

To fulfill the objective of educating all stakeholders of the Anti-Hospital Deposit Law, its legal process flow, and legal implications, the HFOB, in coordination with the Communication Office of the Department of Health (DOH), has prepared IEC materials for proper distribution. In this light, we respectfully request your facility’s cooperation in posting the said materials in conspicuous places and/or made available within the premises of your facility.

The said IEC materials may be downloaded through https://tinyurl.com/HFOBMaterials where additional brochures with QR codes of FAQs can likewise be accessed. Copies of the “Guidelines on Handling Complaints regarding Violations of R.A. 10932 or the Anti-Hospital Deposit Law and its Implementing Rules Regulations (A.O. 2021-0018) in English and Tagalog versions are included as attachment in this email.

We enjoin the Member Hospitals from the Private Sector for your full cooperation and compliance on the request for assistance from the DOH-HFOB. Should you have further clarifications or queries on the matter, please let us know immediately so we can relay these to DOH-HFOB.
